Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Albarrak

Academic Qualification
Dr. Albarrak holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom, a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Colorado in the United States of America, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Faisal University. He has also participated in several advanced executive and leadership programs offered by leading global institutions, including Harvard University, Stanford University in the United States, and IMD in Switzerland.
Positions and Experience
Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Albarrak serves as Chairman and Board Member of several government authorities and private sector companies, in addition to chairing and serving on various board committees. He brings extensive and specialized experience in financial markets, particularly in the areas of company listings and corporate governance.
Throughout his professional career, Dr. Albarrak has held a number of senior leadership positions, most notably as:
- Vice Chairman of the Saudi Capital Market Authority
- Chairman of Thiqa Business Solutions
- Chairman of MedGulf Insurance Company
With respect to audit committees, he chairs and serves on several committees including:
