This release removes the small frustrations that slow finance teams down — the manual follow-ups, the extra clicks, the "who approved what?" questions. Here's what's new.
Receipts — handled before they become a problem
The Receipt Inbox now puts action-required items front and center, so nothing gets buried. Match receipts directly from the inbox, paste screenshots with Ctrl+V, drag-and-drop, or upload in bulk — and when you upload multiple files, you choose which one Musa'ed extracts from. Receipts stuck in processing are automatically retried every day. You won't need to babysit them.
Expenses — review faster, stay compliant without reminding anyone
See the total financial impact before you approve a batch, not after. The approval list now shows only what's pending for you — no more sifting through items that don't need your attention. And "Approved by You" stays hidden until your level is fully resolved, so the status always reflects reality.
Export only the expenses you need. Employees with missing receipts get a weekly reminder automatically. After Musa'ed extracts invoice data, you'll confirm before it saves — so no one loses work by accidentally clicking away.
Musa'ed — does more of the work for you
Musa'ed now writes expense memos and keeps them up to date in real time. When you create a reimbursement, it suggests a category automatically. Every AI action it takes — OCR, category assignment, memo generation — is logged with a timestamp. But that's separate from the broader audit trail: every human edit to card expenses and reimbursements is now captured too — receipt updates, line-item changes, note edits, custom-field modifications, and all status transitions. The full picture, in one place.
Budgets — easy to manage, hard to miss
Archive inactive budgets to keep your list clean without losing history. Expired and expiring-soon budgets are flagged everywhere they appear, with remaining days shown so you can act before it's too late.
Cards — more control, less exposure
Admins can now lock a card so only they can unlock it — and cancel it while it's locked, without first unlocking it. That's a complete control loop from a single place. Card details auto-hide after 3 minutes. Track physical card delivery from the app. A new section in Account Info shows all funded cards and total allocation amounts at a glance. And if a recipient rejects a card, the creator is notified automatically.
Transfers — create, approve, and pay without waiting
Upload an invoice, and Musa'ed fills in the transfer details. If you upload multiple, you choose which one it reads. Once a transfer is approved, the person who initiated it can pay directly — no handoff needed. Receipts are generated for internal transfers, and you can attach invoices even after payment. The full transfer experience — creating, browsing, filtering — is now available on mobile.
Stay on top of limits and compliance
Admins now receive an in-app banner and email when the company crosses its SAMA wallet limit — before it becomes a problem. Reports can be sent directly to external auditors by email. New charts on the Insights page break down spend by category and by budget, giving your finance team a clearer picture of where money is going. And if your company hasn't set a custom approval policy, you'll now see a clear explanation of how default approval behavior works — no more guessing.
Certificates and exports
Export transfers or expenses as a bundled package, including all attachments. Balance confirmation certificates now carry a digital stamp. IBAN certificates include a QR code for quick verification.
