Maximum Transaction Limit for Cards

You’re now in control of how much can be spent with your company cards.

Admins can set maximum transaction limits across different categories to reduce risk and align spending with company policy:

• 💳 POS transactions – cap per-swipe spend at physical stores

• 🏧 ATM withdrawals – set maximum withdrawal per transaction

• 🌐 Online transactions – limit spend on e-commerce and digital purchases

• ✈️ Foreign transactions – define per-transaction limits when traveling abroa

Why it matters

• 🔐 Reduce risk – protect against fraud and accidental overspending

• 📊 Better control – align limits with employee roles and budgets

• 🌍 Safer international use – mitigate exposure on cross-border transactions

How to use it

1. When creating a new card → Set limits directly in Security Options during setup.

2. For existing cards → Head to Card Settings → Security Options and adjust transaction limits anytime.

3. At the budget level → Go to Budget Settings → Card Settings to apply consistent limits across all cards in a budget.
